A man covered in leprosy falls before Jesus with a desperate question:
“Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”
And Jesus does what no one else would do.
He reaches out and touches him.
In Luke 5:12–16, we see the compassion of Christ on full display. Jesus is not repelled by brokenness, sickness, or shame. He moves toward it with mercy, power, and healing.
